Bio:
Ryan started '7% Milk' back in 1999 and has been in many bands over the years, including 'bei6', his own solo project, 'Bag of Wank', and now FCD. He has honed his lead to an extremely technical level, incorporating multi-fingered hammer-on/pull-off solos, sweep picking, and complex arpeggio progressions complete with natural and artificial harmonics.
Ryan typically cites bands outside of the North American mainstream as his influences, including Dream Theater, Angra, Sonata Arctica, Onmyouza, Jinmo, Janne da Arc, L'Arc~en~Ciel, Frederic Chopin, Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), to name a few. Ryan is working hard at crafting FCD into the ultimate melodic metal band.
